Platform Engineer
POSITION SUMMARY
- We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer with 3–5 years of experience who has worked closely with application teams and understands both infrastructure and backend development. The ideal candidate should have strong cloud and Kubernetes expertise, solid CI/CD implementation experience, and the ability to write and maintain production-grade code (not limited to scripting). Exposure to modern AI tooling and automation is an added advantage.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or equivalent.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for backend services and containerized workloads.
- Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot applications on Kubernetes platforms (EKS / AKS/ GKE or self-managed).
- Collaborate closely with application development teams to ensure reliable and
- repeatable deployments.
- Implement deployment strategies including rolling, blue-green, and canary releases.
- Set up and manage observability systems for logs, metrics, and traces.
- Perform root-cause analysis for production issues and improve system reliability.
- Automate operational workflows to reduce manual intervention.
- Leverage AI-assisted tools for coding, debugging, monitoring, or incident analysis
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILL SETS
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps / Platform / Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP acceptable).
- Practical knowledge of cloud services including networking, compute, storage, IAM,
- and security.
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience, including: Deployments, Services, Ingress ,ConfigMaps and Secrets.
- Helm or similar package managers.
