Senior System Engineer
POSITION SUMMARY
- The systems engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex IT infrastructure and systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support enterprise-wide technology initiatives, troubleshoot advanced system issues, and lead infrastructure upgrades and automation efforts.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages and monitors all installed systems and infrastructure for the organization to be in line with
- company guidelines or SOP (standard operating procedure).
- Defines customers’ needs and functionality in a service development cycle.
- Assists in the coordination of various teams testing and evaluating for the development of design
- and its implementation of the best output.
- Installs, configures, and tests operating systems, application software, and system management
- tools.
- Ensures the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability.
- Implements warranty and support activities.
- Evaluates the existing systems and provides technical directions to IT support staff.
- Plans and implements system automation as required for better efficiency.
- Oversee the development of customized software and hardware requirement.
- Helpdesk tool ticket management.
- End user system and desktop support.
- Linux service management
- Mac OS service management
- Ensure IT services meet customer expectations within defined SLAs.
- Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including data centers, cloud platforms
- (AWS, Azure), servers, and networks.
- Oversee network administration, server management, Office365 services.
- Proactively monitor system performance and address potential issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless IT operations and infrastructure scalability.
- Provide hands-on support for incoming user requests related to computer systems, software,
- hardware, and Office365, including remote support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user and system issues, ensuring smooth onboarding of new employees.
- Installation, Maintenance, and upkeep of global Physical & Virtual compute and Azure cloud
- infrastructure.
- Deployments, Patching, Upgrade of ESXI
- Work closely with vendors for issue resolution.
- Participate in scheduled systems maintenance activities during weekends and off hours.

- System & Network Administration (Windows, Linux, Mac OS, LAN/WAN, firewalls)
- Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure) & Virtualization (VMware ESXi)
- Office365 Services administration & support
- Data Center Management (physical & virtual compute)
- Automation & Scripting for efficiency improvements
- System Monitoring & proactive troubleshooting
