POSITION SUMMARY

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst with 3–7 years of experience in digital transformation and enterprise applications, preferably within BPM platforms like Appian or similar tools. The role involves driving end-to-end requirements gathering, process mapping (ASIS/TO-BE), and translating business needs into well-defined user stories and functional solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, support Agile delivery cycles, and act as a bridge between business stakeholders and offshore teams.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 3–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in digital transformation / enterprise applications.
  • Experience working on Appian OR any BPM suite (e.g., Pega, Camunda, IBM BPM, Oracle BPM, Bonita, jBPM, etc.).
  • Requirements gathering & documentation
  • User story writing and acceptance criteria
  • Process analysis & modelling (AS-IS / TO-BE)
  • UAT planning/execution and defect management
  • Exposure to integrations: APIs, data mapping, and system-to-system workflows.
  • Proficiency with Agile practices and tools (e.g., Jira/Azure DevOps, Confluence).
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILL SETS

  • Lead requirements elicitation through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process walkthroughs.
  • Create user stories with clear acceptance criteria; maintain grooming-ready backlog in tools like Jira/Rally.
  • Perform process mapping and documentation of AS-IS / TO-BE workflows for BPM/Appian implementations.
  • Define data and integration requirements, including data models, API specifications, and integration touchpoints.
  • Support UX/UI wireframing for Appian SAIL interfaces (low-fidelity to high-fidelity as required).
  • Assist in sprint planning activities: backlog refinement, story prioritization, estimation support with dev teams.
  • Coordinate UAT: prepare test scripts, facilitate business validations, track defects and closures with QA.
  • Act as an effective onshore–offshore bridge by translating business context to offshore teams and resolving gaps.
  • Drive change management activities: scope change tracking, impact analysis, and stakeholder sign-offs.
  • Maintain high-quality documentation: requirements traceability, user guides, and training/support materials
  • Prior experience on Appian projects involving SAIL screens/workflow-heavy implementations.
  • Knowledge of BPMN / process modelling standards.
  • Experience in regulated/enterprise environments with strong governance/traceability.
